Hi, I’m AJ Mitchell! I live in the Cowichan Valley with my beautiful wife and 2 daughters. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I’ve been drumming since age 10, starting with my church’s band team. As a teen, I played with various bands and teams, and I still love playing today while sharing my knowledge with others.

Some highlights of my drumming journey include performing at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, a BC Lions game, Mt. Whistler, and Canada’s Got Talent.

I love drumming, but I also have a passion for teaching it. Over the past 10 years, I’ve taught in various settings and capacities. Drumming has greatly impacted my life over the last two decades, and I’m passionate about sharing this gift with others!
